Deciding which system to buy is always about what you mostly want to get from the system and how much you are prepared to spend to get it.

All our systems can be shown to be more competitive than Sky or Cable options who will often give you equipment but charge high rentals for every station you receive they rarely offer foreign programs and they miss out on many special interest channels.

You can buy a motorized system from HISAT, which can give you access to well over 1000 Channels absolutely free (once you have bought the equipment) and the addition of a CAM and a CARD can increase this quantity still further.

Some clients want Italian TV or Spanish, French, German or some other language channel – nearly every European country has some free TV beaming into Europe many Sports channels are available – we often give the example of the Tyson Fight which took place in 2002 it was a Pay per view event on SKY but was shown on OBN (Serbian channel on 36 east) absolutely free, but this is just one example of the free programming available which includes….

These days the satellite receiver can be much more than just a satellite receiver – it can be the center piece of your whole in home entertainment system being a Satellite receiver, a dish positioner a Video recorder and a music system all in one the new PVR receivers offer everything to everyone and there is no longer any need to settle for a 1 or 2 year warranty a 3 year warranty is standard on the GbSat receivers.

When it comes to Dish size some satellites require larger dishes in Bristol for example Sirius can be received on a 1.2 Metre dish but everything else must be right too Nilesat and Arabsat are a bit border line on a 1 metre dish but come in very strong on a 1.2 Metre Dish – most clients opt for a 1 M system because it’s not much more expensive than an 85 cm Dish and our 1 Metre Gibertini dish performs equally well to the Triax 1.1, a Gibertini 1 Metre dish will give about 15% better performance than an average 80cm dish whilst the 1.2 is only about 5% better than the 1M we also stock the Gibertini 1.5 Metre dish and this we tested against 1.8 Metre offerings from Televes and IRTE and once again it outperformed these dishes.

We have tested many different dishes and sell what we believe to be the best for each size.

When it comes to LNB’s we have also run many tests – and have so far found the 0.6db MTI LNB to be the best performer for the price – even when testing it against so called 0.3db LNB’s – it faired well only the Invacom 0.3db LNB performs marginally better, the “Blue Line” MTI LNB faired better than the standard LNB but was still the tiniest bit under the performance of the Invacom.

The Cable we supply is manufactured by Cavel in Italy – once again we believe this is the best performance available. – It has 100% Copper conductor and a Foam Dielectric.

The favorite motor mount is the STAB Mount It’s very quiet, very precise and it’s the only mount which not only operates in DiSEqC 1.2 Mode but also in USALS, HISAT are main agent for this product and can offer excellent prices to the Trade as well as to end users.
